Welcome to my corner of the digital world! I’m a passionate UX Manager and Designer with a rich background in fine art and graphic design, where my journey began over a decade ago. I've been painting ever since I could hold a brush, and still have a tendency to get sucked into art projects today. My creative path started with a love for visual aesthetics and the power of compelling imagery, but as I delved deeper into the design realm, I found a love for the psychology of UX and the direct interaction that I get to have with users. Transitioning from graphic design to product design, I now focus on research and Discovery methodology, crafting intuitive interfaces that not only look good but also resonate with users' needs and behaviors.
I've been managing a team of talented UX designers for the last two years, and found that I thrive when helping other people get the most out of their work. I have a strong background in design process, and work hard to build team confidence by demystifying the opaque and daunting. I love being a manager and am honored to be able to work with such a great, hardworking, and fun team of folks at Wiser Solutions.
In my work, I strive to bridge the gap between form and function, believing that great design must serve a purpose while elevating the user’s journey. While I know some front-end, I thrive on collaboration with my partners in engineering, drawing inspiration from diverse perspectives and engaging stakeholders to create solutions that truly resonate. Whether I'm wireframing a new feature or conducting user interviews, my goal is to cultivate an experience that enhances connectivity and fosters engagement.
Outside of design, I love cooking, hiking, weightlifting, playing video games, reading sci-fi, making art, and volunteering for local political orgs.
